I just wanted to say that we had a great time in Newtonmore at your cottage, and everything worked out well for us. The weather was mostly excellent and we only had one shower to contend with while we were hiking in the Cairngorms. One of our group's grandparents was a MacPherson, so she was pleased to visit the Museum in Newtonmore, and we were all happily surprised to see some of the Highland games before we left on Saturday afternoon.    Thanks.    August 2007

 

I would like to thank you for providing such comfortable, well equipped accommodation during our stay up in Newtonmore. We had so much fun exploring the Monarch of the Glen sites as well as taking in the beautiful scenery of the Highlands and coming back to Steading 5 always felt like we were going home.  I could have easily stayed there for a month!   If we are lucky again to travel to Scotland, we'll definitely be booking with you again. We are home after an excellent holiday in Scotland. We enjoyed every minute of it and the Cairngorm Mountains were indeed great! As well as your beautiful house!! Very nice, clean and with everything we needed (and more). We walked around the area and climb a few munroes and relaxed in the steading. We'll recommend the steading to everyone and when we will travel to the Cairngorm Mountains we will come back. Thanks again for the hospitality.     July 2008

Just thought I'd follow up to our stay last week. I just wanted to say what a great time we had and to say how impressed we were with the cottage. I don't think we could have found anywhere better equipped or more comfortable and peaceful. Everything was so clean and well maintained it was a pleasure to stay there. Whenever, we are in the area again I wouldn't be looking to stay anywhere else.  August 2008

Just to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Newtonmore.  The cottage was just right and had everything we needed - the pint of milk in the fridge and biscuits were most welcome.      February 2009
